World Tibet Day!

WTD is founded with three main goals: first to create an annual worldwide event to help restore essential freedoms for those living in occupied Tibet; second, to increase awareness of the genocidal threats to the Tibetan people; and third, to celebrate the unique beauty and value of Tibetan culture and thought.  Celebrated in conjunction with the Appearance Day of HH, the Dalai Lama Tenzin Gyatso on July the 7th .  www.worldtibetday.org

“World Tibet Day has opened many hearts to fundamental rights of the Tibetan people to preserve our culture and to practice our religion freely. The event had greatly raised public awareness to the present threat to the very existence of the Tibetan people."
His Holiness the XIV Dalai Lama
